Owners, Andrea and Jeremy Anderson. The summer of 2026 marks our 23rd year in the tourism industry helping people plan the best fishing and sightseeing vacations on the Kenai Peninsula, and our 11th season operating Alaska Silvertip Lodge and Cabins. In the spring of 2016, we purchased Silvertip Lodge and Cabins from Dean and Mary Talley, who built the first cabin in 1999.

Over the past 23 years, our team has developed a diverse set of skills in the Alaskan tourism industry and have spent countless hours recreating outdoors. Andrea has guided for several rafting companies, ran a fishing lodge, and currently manages Alaska Drift Away Fishing, which Jeremy is co-owner of. Jeremy’s expertise started with guiding rafting trips & working in office operations, before starting the fishing business in 2005. The cabins are great, everything you need on a fishing trip. Close to stores and some restaurants as well. Jeremy is an excellent fishing guide! He's extremely cool, calm and collected and is great at teaching you everything you need to know. We love his attitude and demeanor and he has a great personality. They're simply just good people. He knows the area so well and will take you where you need to to catch your fish. The on-site processing center is awesome, you can cut all your filets exactly how you like and take more time and care than other processing facilities would. It was my 3rd time and I will most definitely return here every time going forward. We had 9 people in our group with half being their first time. everyone had an excellent time and were extremely happy with the accommodations. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed. The campfire area was spacious and inviting. The fish processing room saved us a ton of money. And Jeremy was attentive to our needs throughout the trip and was one of our guides on the river fishing trips. You not only won't be disappointed in the silvertip Lodge, you will wish you had found it sooner.

 Verified The cabin we stayed in was really nice. Jeremy and Andrea were super friendly, with Andrea showing us how to use the vacuum sealer in the processing house. Communication with them was always very timely and comprehensive. Our guide Cody was extremely friendly and got us on fish...we especially liked that he was ready to go at 3:00am each morning, and he put us on fish and we got our limit each morning by 5:45am. Jeremy took care of our entire itinerary; we just filled him in our interests for what we would like to do while visiting. 4 days, rainbow trout, king salmon, halibut, and finally fly in for sockeye and great brown bear viewing. the cabin was cozy and quickly became our home away from home.  Verified Honeymooning in Alaska!
My husband and I came to the Silver Tip Lodge for our Honeymoon in May of 2025. It was absolutely phenomenal! Andrea & Jeremy were so kind and accommodating from booking our trip nearly a year advance, to the day we left their lodge. A huge reason we selected their beautiful site was because of the small group photos showcased on their excursions on the website. We were fortunate to visit toward the beginning of the season, and had very intimate groups for our excursions! They booked the kayak & dog sledding adventures for us that we drove oursevles to. Then Jeremy took us out himself for the Alaskan salmon fishing - and even in the drizzle, we caught a King Salmon! (Remember to hop online and get your 1 day fishing license & king salmon stamp!) The cabin was darling and spacious; everything we needed for a beautiful week in Alaska. Plus we made fast friends with Andrea & Jeremy's sweet pup, Toto :) I can't recommend this enough!

Jeremy and Andrea were great to work with and set up the perfect itinerary for us. There was fishing, rafting, sightseeing, and resting. The cabin was a perfect spot for us to put our feet up at the end of the day. Their location on the Kenai peninsula is perfect if you want to see Homer, Kenai, Kasilof. This summer was my first time staying with Silvertip lodge, and my ninth time traveling to Alaska to fish. Our trip leader had stayed before and had nothing but positive experiences previously. The accomodations are very comfortable and clean. Having a commercial grade vacuum packer in the fish house was great as well. We were lucky and caught a heavy sockeye run and had hot fishing. We take a family fishing trip each year, and this year we traveled to Alaska. Our hosts were Jeremy and Andrea at Silvertip Lodge and Cabins, and they treated us like family. The cabins were clean and well maintained and equipped with all the essentials. Jeremy is an outstanding fishing guide, and we landed a number of trophy rainbows during our stay. He also referred us to an excellent halibut fishing charter in Homer. Jeremy and Andrea worked with the one non-fishing member or our group to experience other things that Alaska had to offer. Had an absolutely great time with the guide services for multiple days of fishing, including Kenai Silvers and trophy trout, Cook inlet halibut and a fly-in river salmon trip out of Nikiski. Guides were very professional and had a fantastic attitude. Would definitely recommend Silvertip and Jeremy and Andrea to take care of your Alaska fishing adventure.

I have been fly fishing for 20+ years and I learn every time I have fished with Jeremy and the guides he runs with. Beautiful place. VERY comfortable clean nice cabins to stay in, everything you would want shower/plenty of space/range/micro/fridge, everything you would want. I have a place in Montana on one of the best stretches of that river in the continental US. THIS IS DIFFERNET. I haven't gotten the trophy in....yet, but my girl had three on in 30 min or so. If you listen you can have a 30" a shot a day (my opinion). That speaks to the guides. These guys are unreal. If you are a good fisherman, you will get better. Enjoy, have fun, they will  help you do so. The fishing is amazing and the accommodations are incredible.

The cabins are well-kept and modern with all the amenities, but they still have a rustic feel. The property is beautiful and quiet, with great views as well as a communal fire pit, laundry room, and charcoal grills. The location is perfect - close enough to Soldotna to easily run into town for supplies, dining, trying the local breweries, and shopping yet far enough away to feel like you're truly in the outdoors. The Kenai Wildlife Refuge is also very close and has great hiking trails and many opportunities to see wildlife. Getting to other locations on the peninsula is a breeze, and Andrea and Jeremy will set you up with great adventures. They are dedicated to making sure you have a wonderful Alaskan experience. Five stars!!!

Directions From Anchorage International Airport To Our Lodge and Cabins

• Exit the airport by getting onto International Airport Road heading east.
• Merge onto AK-1 South/Walter J. Hickel Pkwy (also known as Minnesota Drive) heading north briefly, then south.
• Continue on AK-1 South. Minnesota Drive will turn into the Seward Highway.
• Stay on the Seward Highway (AK-1 S) for a significant stretch as you head south out of Anchorage and along the scenic Turnagain Arm.
• The Seward Highway will merge into the Sterling Highway (still AK-1 S) just after the town of Tern Lake.
• Continue on the Sterling Highway through the towns of Cooper Landing and Sterling, heading towards Soldotna.
• In Sterling, you will turn left onto Isbell St.
• Follow Isbell St until you can make a left onto Bowman Rd.
• Follow Bowman Rd, then turn right onto Janota Cir. The lodge will be located at 35930 Janota Cir.
